PELLET STOVES AND THEIR ADVANTAGES
A pellet stove combines the ambience of a traditional wood-burning stove with state-of-the-art technology and maximum operating comfort.
WHAT IS A PELLET STOVE?
Pellet stoves are automatically heated with wood pellets and visually resemble a traditional wood-burning stove fueled with logs. Their flames are more restrained, the crackling and popping is less audible.
+ VARIOUS STOVE MODELS
Pellet stoves are available in a wide range of variants: round, angular, with natural stone side panels or even with an integrated baking compartment. The heating power varies between 2.5 and 10 kW depending on the model and is equally suitable for small and large rooms.
+ PELLET FUEL
Pellets are made from timber and sawmill by-products. They are available regionally and are environmentally friendly. They have a very high heating value and are stored cleanly and without sawdust in sacks. Once placed in the pellet hopper, they are automatically sent into the combustion chamber.
HOW DOES A PELLET STOVE WORK?
All RIKA pellet stoves can be run independently of room air. All processes occur completely automatically. This makes them convenient, economical in consumption and environmentally friendly.
+ FULLY AUTOMATED CONTROL
There's no need to any manual control for combustion in pellet stoves – from adding wood to the fire through to the air supply, all processes occur completely automatically. These are intensively optimised to always get the most out of the fuel and cause the lowest emissions possible.
+ LARGE PELLET HOPPER
The pellet containers on RIKA pellet stoves offer space for up to 50 kg of pellets for particularly long refill intervals. Large openings allow comfortable filling. During heating operation, the combustion chamber is continually supplied with pellets via an auger.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF PELLET STOVES?
Pellet stoves heat particularly efficiently and with low emissions, as well as being intuitive to control. They are durable, airtight and non warping.
+ SIMPLE CONTROL
Pellet stoves can be operated via touch display – as well as online via smartphone regardless of time and location or by voice with the Alexa voice service as desired. This allows heating times to be programmed or the desired room temperature and heating power to be set, among other things.
+ QUIET HEATING
Constant pellet feed with continuous drive, optimal flue gas management and the absence of a convection fan keep operating noises to a minimum.
+ USE HEAT MULTIPLE TIMES
Using RIKA MULTIAIR technology, the warm convection air can be conducted into up to two other adjoining rooms. Easy, efficient and low-noise.
+ MINIMAL EFFORT
The periodic self-cleaning system with tipping grate ash removal sends ash residues into the ash container on its own. The patented panel flushing system prevents the viewing windows from sooting up and thus also keeps cleaning work to a minimum. The installation effort is also generally low: in the event of a move, the pellet stove can easily be removed and reinstalled.
+ ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY HEATING
Emissions are kept to a minimum in the combustion thanks not only to the use of the renewable raw material wood in the form of pellets, but also thanks to the clever pellet technology.
